Terrazzo tiles - Design & Quality
Our terrazzo tiles are produced in Italy by a family-owned company with proud traditions. Terrazzo tiles are, among other things, natural stone with colored cement and are very much in vogue at the moment. We strive to always have some of the best designs at home. The terrazzo tiles typically come home in 60 x 60 x 2 cm, but other sizes are also possible. We have always exhibited our 60 x 60 terrazzo tiles in our showroom in the inner city.
Terrazzo tiles should be treated like other natural stone tiles. That is, they must be treated/impregnated and do not tolerate acidic products. If you are in doubt about how to maintain your tiles, please contact us. We recommend Stonetreatment Wetlook.
The delivery time for our terrazzo is typically 6 to 8 weeks, as our terrazzo is made to order. We strive to stock up on the most popular designs.
Unevenness may occur on the tiles, edges and corners, as it is natural stone. Next, plan the tiles so that these are used for cuts. Small air holes can also be experienced, these can be closed with a joint. Always order extra tiles for cuts and other spills.
The terrazzo tiles can be damp when we receive them from Italy. We therefore recommend that you separate them and give the tiles air when you receive them.
We recommend that the terrazzo tiles are installed within 4 weeks of receipt. Furthermore, it is always recommended to sort the tiles before installation. Terrazzo is natural stone and there may be nuance and variation differences.

If you need terrazzo tiles for a new bathroom project, you can find a large selection of the beautiful Italian tiles on this page. Terrazzo tiles are, among other things, natural stone with dyed cement, and are very much in vogue at the moment. Of course, the popularity is partly due to the incredibly beautiful expression, but also that it is flexible to work with. It gives free rein to the imagination when the ideas need to be generated. Traditionally, the beautiful material has primarily been used for flooring in the bathroom, but nowadays it is also used for countertops, bathtubs, sinks, etc. Remember that in addition to our large selection of terrazzo tiles, we also sell a wide range of other types of bathroom tiles , for example our popular lava stone tiles .
Advantages of terrazzo tiles
There are many advantages to choosing terrazzo tiles when, for example, you have to make a new floor in the bathroom. E.g. Terrazzo tiles have a lot of options in terms of. colour mixing, which provides many opportunities to add a completely personal touch, and give the room its very own charm. By choosing terrazzo tiles, rather than a floor cast in terrazzo, you also save many weeks of work. Tiles should be laid on an even, dry and cleaned surface, but then they appear with the same charm as ‘classic’ terrazzo. It is also a cheaper solution than if you had chosen a floor cast in terrazzo. Cleaning terrazzo tiles is also quite easy. It doesn’t take anything more than a damp cloth and ongoing cleaning to keep the tiles clean and tidy. When the actual main cleaning is at the door, you can invest in special cleaning products that are made for the purpose. As mentioned earlier, it is important not to use acidic cleaning agents on your terrazzo tiles.
